Na manhã desta quinta-feira (30), os termômetros em Urupema marcaram -2,8°C às 6h30. Uma forte geada cobriu a cidade, transformando a paisagem em um cenário branco e gelado. A região da igreja, as ruas do município e os campos amanheceram completamente brancos.
Os moradores de Urupema puderam observar cenas diferentes, com os animais do campo atravessando o gelo que se formou sobre a vegetação, durante a geada.
A Serra Catarinense amanheceu com temperaturas negativas nesta quinta-feira (30), trazendo um “clima gelado” para o feriado de Corpus Christi. Muitos turistas aproveitaram o fenômeno para contemplar a geada e desfrutar do frio característico da região.
Em São Joaquim, na estação meteorológica do INMET (Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia) no Vale do Caminhos da Neve, os termômetros marcaram -2,4°C. Em outras áreas da cidade, incluindo o centro, as temperaturas variaram entre -2,0°C e -1,0°C, transformando a paisagem em um cenário congelante.
As cidades de Urubici, Urupema e Bom Jardim da Serra também registraram temperaturas abaixo de zero, com a ocorrência de geada.
